Alinion Privacy Policy
Some services offered by the Alinion web site require visitors to provide contact information and may request optional, additional information, which can be entered or left blank. Alinion uses the information we collect to contact visitors regarding our products, services, partners and promotions. Visitor email addresses and personal information will not be distributed or shared with third parties. Visitors can opt out of being contacted by us at any time by sending an email to support@alinion.com.
The Alinion web site may contain links to other web sites. Alinion is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other web sites. Visitors will need to check the policy statement of these other web sites to understand their policies. Visitors who access a linked site may be disclosing private information. It is the responsibility of the visitor to keep such information private and confidential.
Third Party Interactions
The Alinion web site may contain links to other web sites from which visitors to Alinion’s web site may purchase goods and/or services. Any such purchase, and any terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with any such purchase, is solely between visitors and the applicable third-party. Alinion and its licensors shall have no liability, obligation or responsibility for any such purchase. ALINION does not endorse any third parties identified on Alinion’s web site. Alinion provides these links only as a matter of convenience, and in no event shall Alinion or its licensors be responsible for any content, products, other materials or services provided by such third party consultants. Visitors must recognize that certain third-party providers of ancillary software, hardware or services may require visitors to enter into license or other forms of agreement prior to their use of or access to such software, hardware or services.
Alinion Policies for Clients
Capitalized terms used in these Policies shall have the same meaning as set forth in the Alinion Software Subscription Agreement (the “Agreement”)
Alinion Security Policy
Alinion applications are hosted in a secure SAS70 Type II Certification environment that uses advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects Client Data during transmission from Alinion’s data center to any User. Clients must provide each User with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. The password is encrypted in the server database. The session "cookie" does not include the username or password of the User. Alinion does not use cookies to store session information. Session information is held at the server and is based on encoded session IDs. Alinion will support a Client’s existing corporate password policy if so requested in writing by Your Administrator. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of data.
Alinion Privacy Policy
Alinion provides the Service to each Client from a separate instance of the Software and stores each Client’s Data in a separate dedicated database, accessible only from such Client’s instance of the Software. Alinion will not review, distribute, or reference any such Client Data except for the purpose of resolving a problem, potential problem or support issue, or as otherwise provided in the Agreement or as may be required by law. Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user names and passwords.
